Routine & Speciality Consultations
All our branches offer daily consultations Monday to Saturday by appointment. In addition, our Staines site offers extended consultation hours with early morning (8am-8.30am) and late-night (7pm-8pm) appointments Monday to Friday; afternoon appointments on a Saturday; and an open surgery (where no appointment is necessary) on Sundays between 10am and 12pm. At all other times we offer a 24-7 emergency consultations at our Staines site – click here for more details.
Our standard consultation length is 15 minutes. However, we routinely offer longer appointments for new clients and patients (so we can get to know you and your pet) and for those appointments when it is time to say goodbye you pet – we understand this is a time which cannot be rushed.
Our team has a wealth of experience and can assist you with any matters of your pet’s preventative healthcare as well as the myriad of illnesses and conditions, unfortunately, our pets can suffer from. During veterinary consultations, you are encouraged to raise any concerns you may have with your pet. All Willett House veterinary surgeons are happy to answer questions – so feel free to ask.
Rabbits, Small Mammals and Other Exotic Pets
At Willett House, we are delighted to welcome a variety of exotic pets for first opinion consultations. Whether you have a rabbit, guinea pig, tortoise, snake, gecko, skunk or another unique companion, our team is here to provide care and advice tailored to their specific needs. We understand that exotic pets require specialised attention, and we are committed to ensuring their health and well-being with the same dedication and compassion we extend to all our patients.
Please contact the surgery to book an appointment, and please come along to your appointment prepared with pictures of your pet’s living space, knowledge of their diet, and any equipment you use (lamps, heaters) to maintain their health. In those circumstances where your exotic pet requires more specialist treatment, we will facilitate a referral to an exotics specialist.
Speciality Consults
Furthermore, we are happy to offer speciality consultations. These consults are carried out by certain members of our veterinary team that have a special interest or further training and qualifications in these subjects. Should you wish to book an appointment in one of the following areas please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff when booking an appointment. These are longer appointments and, therefore are charged at a slightly higher rate than our normal consultation fee.
